RULES


2017 Competition Rules
 General Rules:           * The Promoters are the ‘Central Vic Lure Casters Incorporated’ or ‘CVLCI
* The Event or Competition will be known as the ‘Central Vic Lure Casters Super Series’ or the ‘CVLCSS
* All registered fish must be caught on a lure or soft plastic; no fresh baits or live baits are permitted to be used in this competition
* In the case of a tie the earliest registered fish will be determined the winner.
* It is the responsibility of entrants to be fully aware of regulations covering minimum sizes and bag limits of fish, the requirements of appropriate boat licenses and safety equipment for NSW and VIC waters.
* Any boat found to be in the possession of illegal fishing equipment will be disqualified from the competition
* The promoter (CVLCI) at any time may refuse or reject any registrations to any round of the (CVLCSS) without explanation
* All persons in a boat actively fishing during the competition must be registered anglers
* The promoters (CVLCI) decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
* Actual Fishing times will be displayed at the Registration Desk at each round
* All Anglers must adhere to the relevant states fishing and boating rules and regulations.
* All anglers must have a current fishing licence relevant to the State in which they are fishing
* Any Angler found to be in breach of any of the rules set out above may be disqualified immediately
* Anglers cannot fish within 30m (Casting Distance) from another competitor unless invited in to do so.

Proof of Catch:           * All fish must be digitally photographed on brag mat with supplied catch token to be eligible.
* Digital photographs are to be produced to support catch card results upon request. If you cannot produce a photograph upon request no score will be added to your total for that fish.

Scoring:                       * Aggregate scores of your 5 best Golden Perch and 5 best Murray Cod per Session/Round will determine an Anglers points
* 10 bonus points for landing the target species per fish
* Murray Cod = 1 point per centimeter
* Golden Perch = 1 point per centimeter
* Redfin, Trout and Carp – flat 10 points per fish (max 5 per person per round) – can be kept.
* Murray Cod and Golden Perch are catch and release only

Slot/Size Limits:         ** Slot/Size Limits apply in all VIC and NSW Waters
                                    ** It is illegal to be in possession fish caught outside that Slot/Size Limit.
                                    ** All fish caught outside that Slot/Size Limit are required to be returned to the water as soon as possible
                                   
Prizes:                        * Prize Pool is determined by total amount of competitors @ $15 per person.
* ROUND WINNER: 50% of prize pool & Prize Board
* 2nd Place: 20% of prize pool & Prize Board
* 3rd Place: 10% of prize pool & Prize Board
* “BIG NATIVE” (Target Species) 20% of prize pool

Two Day Rounds/Multiple Sessions

Scoring:                       The Below Rules apply per 'session' nominated by the CVLCI
* Aggregate scores of your 5 best Golden Perch and 5 best Murray Cod per Session/Round will determine an Anglers points prior to Bonus points
                                    * 10 bonus points for landing the target species per fish
* Murray Cod = 1 point per Centimeter
* Golden Perch = 1 point per centimeter
* Redfin, Trout and Carp – flat 10 points per fish (max 5 per person per round) – can be kept.
* Murray Cod and Yellow Belly are catch and release only
*All Session Scores will be combined to determine the winners

Pro Series Teams
General:                      * The Promoters are the ‘Central Vic Lure Casters Incorporated’ or ‘CVLCI
* The Event or Competition will be known as the ‘Central Vic Pro Series’ or the ‘CVPS
* All registered fish must be caught on a lure or soft plastic, no fresh baits or live baits are permitted to be used in this competition
* In the case of a tie the earliest registered fish will be determined the winner.
* It is the responsibility of entrants to be fully aware of regulations covering minimum sizes and bag limits of fish, the requirements of appropriate boat licenses and safety equipment for NSW and VIC waters.
* Any boat found to be in the possession of illegal fishing equipment will be disqualified from the competition
* The promoter (CVLCI) at any time may refuse or reject any registrations to any round of the (CVPS) without explanation
* All persons in a boat actively fishing during the competition must be registered anglers
* The promoters (CVLCI) decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
* All teams must preregister prior to the 9.00pm briefing the night before the competition
* Actual Fishing times will be displayed at the Registration Desk at each round
* All Anglers must adhere to the relevant states fishing and boating rules and regulations.
* All anglers must have a current fishing licence relevant to the State in which they are fishing
* Any Angler found to be in breach of any of the rules set out above may be disqualified immediately
* Teams are to consist of 2 anglers only
* No Junior concessions
* Teams are to cease fishing on the Saturday Session for a minimum of 30 minutes for a lunch break
* No Trolling Permitted
* No tying up to trees and actively fishing

* Teams cannot fish within 30m (Casting Distance) from another competitor unless invited in to do so.
